Understanding Core Web Vitals

Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)
LCP measures the time it takes for the largest content element in the viewport to become visible. Ideally, this should happen within 2.5 seconds.

Improving LCP can be achieved by optimizing images, leveraging browser caching, and using a fast web host.
First Input Delay (FID)
FID measures the time from when a user first interacts with your site to the time when the browser responds. A good FID is less than 100 milliseconds.

To improve FID, minimize JavaScript execution time and optimize the main thread.
Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)
CLS quantifies how much visible content shifts around the viewport. The lower the score, the better, with a good score being below 0.1.

Prevent unexpected layout shifts by ensuring elements have size attributes and avoiding inserting content above existing content.
